As the nation's fastest-growing youth service organization, 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs of America serve millions of young people ages 6-18. Here at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem, our legacy of positive youth development dates back to 1869, when the Salem Fraternity for Boys was founded for young people in need of a place to call their own. In 1906, we joined 14 other youth organizations across the country to form a national youth services nonprofit enterprise known as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Now 4,000 strong, Boys & Girls Clubs reflect the story of America - a tale filled with challenge, opportunity and hope.
